FK Group Italy to offer Tukatech automatic fabric cutters
Posted January 19, 2021
LOS ANGELES – FK Group Italy and Tukatech announced the development and offering of a new premium line of “Tukatech Cutters” to the apparel industry.
The Tukatech automatic fabric cutters will be available for purchase through both FK Group Italy and Tukatech directly.
Both companies started their collaboration in 1995, but in 2017 Tukatech chose the FK hardware platform for developing their own premium level machine, which has been running with spectacular performances, said Sergio Gori, CEO of FK Group SPA.
The merging of the FK Group cutters along with the TUKA power modules creates a perfect synergy. The Tukatech Cutters high-performance automatic fabric cutter includes additional TUKA power modules and software efficiency. Indeed, the TUKAcut software module and high-speed processors are unique to Tukatech Cutters for non-stop cutting and more.
According to Sergio Gori, this allows the calculation of millions of instructions to analyze cut path and sequencing that produces an average of 16.8% higher productivity than most cutters.
Additionally, Safe Start Point, a copyrighted feature, allows users to cut without any buffers between the pattern pieces, which saves material while maintaining excellent cut quality.
“I am glad to announce the strengthening of our 25-year relationship with Tukatech to provide powerful equipment to apparel manufacturers around the world. They can choose between an amazing line of exclusive FK Cutters, and/or upgrade to the high-performing Tukatech module available in the FK Group price list,” Gori said.
Unlike any other cutter suppliers, Tukatech offers the TUKA support package, which includes their unique approach to implementation, process engineering and training to produce measurable results for apparel manufacturers.
“We are truly a solutions provider. We train the cutting machine operators to maintain their own machines, provide a package of all spare parts including all consumables so the manufacturers can stay operational without expensive support agreements,” said Ram Sareen, founder and CEO of Tukatech.
Key customers from all over the globe were the first to test the high-performance Tukatech Cutters. Dov Charney, founder and CEO of Los Angeles Apparel, compared the difference to luxury cars.
“There is Mercedes, and then there are AMG Mercedes,” he said. “These cutters supersede Industry 4.0 standards with faster, more precise, and higher-quality cutting.”
For over 55 years, the group has been focusing on analysis, planning and automation for the cutting room. From its headquarters in Dalmine, Bergamo, heart of textile production “Made in Italy,“ to the Asian continent and South America, FKgroup has carried its brand name with the most eminent Italian and International brands in textile production in all its segments, from fashion to home textile, from automotive to composites fabrics.
