AUBURN, Ga. – Canwil Textiles, Inc. announced that it is expanding its operations by adding additional warehouse and light manufacturing space here to accommodate the demands of its customers.
Plans to develop secondary operations were in the works earlier in 2020 due to unprecedented growth. The new office, which includes a 20,000 square-foot warehouse, will be the company’s second office. The company said it will offer clients products and services from this facility that cater to contract manufacturers and makers by using state-of-art technology that is competitive in the marketplace.
“The opening of this secondary facility is an important step towards realizing our growth and expansion goals,” said Nikhil Narwani, CEO at Canwil Textiles, Inc. “It will be the first of many important changes for the company in the coming years.”
Additionally, the company has invested in machinery such as fully automated PLC controlled slitting for knit/woven fabrics, fully automated fabric spreader/cutter, a CNC fabric pattern cutter and pattern digitization technology to increase speed, accuracy of cutting and overall efficiency. It is offering these services to contract manufacturers to help offset the cost of overseas manufacturing while providing more made-in-the-USA products and services.
Founded in 2001, Canwil is a leading wholesale supplier of a varied range of textile products. These include yarn, fabric used in industry, fabric used for apparel, made-up and finished products. The company offers a wide range of products and what it may not have in range, is specially designed and manufactured based on customer configuration.
