VDMA webtalk to highlight efficiency, recycling in manmade fiber industry
Posted February 4, 2021
FRANKFURT – The next VDMA technology webtalk, scheduled for February 9, will focus on material efficiency and recycling technologies for the manmade fiber industry.
Presenters and topics include:
Manfred Dobersberger, PureLoop, and Wolfgang Hermann, EREMA Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen, will present an integrated shredder extrusion technology for fibrous, textiles scraps, multilayers, films, trays, straps, foam, trays but also polymer mix materials from textiles and even classical thermoplastic composite materials.
Axel Hannemann of Gneuss will offer recycling solutions that enable the fiber manufacturer to use their otherwise worthless fiber waste to substitute virgin material in the manufacture of high-quality fibers.
“We at Oerlikon Manmade Fibers describe a cascaded approach into new technologies as well as different material sources outlining your need for versatile solutions,” said Markus Reichwein of Oerlikon Manmade Fibers.
After the presentations, the experts will be available to answer participants' questions.
Registration is possible via this link (no participation fee).
