

Virtual Federal & Defense Textile Summit set for May

The Offices of U.S. Senators Richard Burr (R-N.C.) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) and the North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) announced the Southeast Region Federal and Defense Textile (FEDTex) Summit will take place virtually May 18-20.
Registration is now open, and there is no fee to attend. However, registration is required in order to receive the platform credentials.
The Summit connects U.S. Department of Defense clothing and individual equipment buyers and requirements officials with textile manufacturers, supply chain, research and development, testing, workforce development and academic resources from across the Southeast United States.
All manufacturers of textile-based clothing, footwear, equipment and soldier systems – and their supply chain, workforce and R&D resources – should attend this summit.
Summit partners include eTextileCommunications.com, the Textile Technology Center at Gaston College and the Manufacturing Solutions Center at Catawba Valley Community College the Manufacturing & Textile Innovation Network and the Defense Alliance of North Carolina.
