WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) said it is dedicating to providing timely coronavirus (COVID-19) resources to help protect members and nonmember teams, consumers and supply chains.
In addition to its daily calls, AAFA committee updates and weekly member update emails from AAFA President and CEO Steve Lamar, the association has a page provides the latest COVID-19 resources as the industry comes together to support one another during this pandemic.
The AAFA has several resources available, including:
AAFA Resource Center: This serves as a one-stop shop, providing access to information from international public health officials, as well as materials developed by AAFA and its friends in the business community. An entire section on PPE is included.
AAFA Members Supporting the Community During COVID-19: This highlights some of the efforts being made by members. The team is regularly updating this as it hears about additional work.
AAFA webinars: Over the past few weeks, AAFA has hosted webinars covering everything from a deep-dive on the CARES Act to the outlook for economic recovery.
AAFA is providing all these materials as open content (nothing is locked for members).
