Klüber Lubrication names head of Global Industry Textiles unit

MUNICH and SHANGHAI – As of January 2021, Klüber Lubrication’s Global Industry Textile (GTI) Business has been managed out of Shanghai. Being close to its key markets and future growth countries, newly merging and prominent OEMs in the region will continue to be the key to its success.
Furthermore, the direct and personal cooperation with its RD Lead Center Knitting, established in Qingpu Shanghai, will release more power and value to respond to the future demands of our customers in the relevant markets.
With this, Klüber Lubrication’s announced a new head of its GIT Textile unit, effective October 1. Livia Chen will start her new position and take on the responsibility of GIT Textile, based in Qingpu, KLChina.
Chen holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and master’s degrees in both polymer chemistry and business administration from Shanghai Jia Tong University and University of British Columbia, respectively.
Furthermore, she is a certificated Six Sigma Blackbelt Project Leader. After 10 years of service at Dow Chemical China and USA in technical, sales and marketing management positions, she joined Chem-Trend in 2018 as the Global Business Development director for the rubber industry. Chen was instrumental to the enhancement of Chem-Trend’s product line robustness, diversification, and innovation.
